I’m happy to welcome yet another great author to my blog today. Mark Miller popped over to tell me a little bit more about himself. Vic x
I’m a father and a writer. I have aspirations of being an elementary school teacher, so I do what I can there. The writing, for me, comes natural. My father was a newspaperman in those not-so-long-ago days when people read news printed on paper. That was, technologically speaking, the prehistoric times of the 1970’s and 80’s. From my father’s background, I got my namesake, Mark Twain. I jokingly say that it’s genetic, so I have no other choice. Oh, I was born shortly after Tolkien passed on, so hopefully I picked up some of his cosmic energy as well?
I have an epic fantasy series called ‘The Empyrical Tales’. They are novel length stories aimed at young adults, but have enough scope for all ages. The great thing about them is the strong female protagonists. I want my daughters and other young ladies to know they don’t have to be the damsel in distress. ‘Book I: The Fourth Queen’ and ‘Book II: The Lost Queen’ are available now. ‘Book III: The Secret Queen’ will be coming from Comfort Publishing in June 2012.
From Trestle Press, I have the honor of headlining a series called “One”. It is a spiritual anthology of sorts. My goal with that is to have a variety of authors from around the world share true stories of their faith. So far we’ve had some pretty amazing, eye-opening stuff. I have one other series with Trestle called ‘Small World Global Protection Agency’. This is a young reader series that is both fun and educational. The two main characters are kids that get recruited into an
international spy organization. I don’t think there is a big market for third grade Kindle users yet, but these stories are great for parents and kids to share together.
Thank you for having me on your blog, Vic! If anybody wants more info, they can find it in lots of places:
