This month, Italian Vogue have taken the bold step of featuring three plus-size models on their front cover.
The cover features Tara Lynn, Candice Huffine and Robyn Lawley in their underwear.
Editor Franca Sozzani has taken on the admirable quest of collecting signatures on a petition for pro-anorexia websites to be shut down. Sozzani says: ‘Fashion has been always blamed as one of the culprits of anorexia, and our commitment is the proof that fashion is ready to get on the frontline and struggle against the disorder.’ She has promised she will continue to put more plus-size models on the cover.
In my opinion, I’d rather see these beautiful women on the cover any day. They are a million times more appealing than LeAnn Rimes et al.
