Review: ‘The Wrong Delivery – Corrin’s Eyes’ by McDroll

‘Corrin’s Eyes’ is the first part in what’s going to be a longer body of work and it’s going to be a must-read series.

‘The Wrong Delivery’ begins with a gruesome discovery and the story just gets more exciting from there. Morna arrives home to find her dog brutally murdered and her husband missing. There’s also a strange smell emanating from the garage. There is so much detail in this short story that it really pulls you in and certainly leaves you wanting more.

McDroll writes this crime noir with a hefty dose of humour and she gets the balance spot on. The idea that crime doesn’t just happen in the city is an interesting premise and I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens in Part 2.

A great start to what guarantees to be a high-octane series: read it!
