Review: ‘Opportunity Knocks’ by Craig Douglas

If you like your short stories sparse, taut and well-written, Craig Douglas’s ‘Opportunity Knocks’ is for you. Douglas doesn’t waste a word in this ‘David Cresswell Adventure’ and the story is great because of it.

David Cresswell is a local rogue who’s well-known to the police. He doesn’t like being messed with and, despite certain conditions imposed on him, David won’t shy away from making an impression.

Set in Wearside, this Brit Grit piece is a very accurate portrayal of the grimy side of modern life. If offended by bad language, stay away. If you’re not, get your copy now!
